Don't Let Hope Become Homeless: Save Olaiya's Cradle
Olaiya's Cradle Faces Closure: 5 Young Mothers and Babies Need Your Help
Olaiya's Cradle, Sasha Bruce Youthwork's haven for young mothers and their babies for 38 years, is facing a critical challenge. Due to the recent loss of funding from HUD, we must raise $300,000 by June 30th to avoid closure.
The impact is heartbreaking. If we can't meet this goal, we'll be forced to close one of our residences, displacing five young moms and their babies.
These families are counting on Olaiya's Cradle for safe housing, vital support services, and a brighter future. Your donation today can make a difference. It can keep a roof over the heads of these vulnerable families and empower them to build a stable future.
About Sasha Bruce Youthwork (SBY):
SBY envisions a world where homelessness is a distant memory for youth and families. Supporters like you help provide housing, life skills coaching, mental health services, and career readiness. Now in it's 50th anniversary year, the organization has more than 25 programs helping 5,000 unstably housed and homeless youth and families annually in the Greater Washington area and Prince George’s County, MD.
Olaiya’s Cradle was my turning point. Without this program, I would have been forced to stay in a toxic environment and my dreams would be on hold.
Traci, juggling care for her ailing parents and multiple jobs, faced homelessness when pregnant with her daughter Serenity. Olaiya's Cradle became her lifeline, offering safety and basic needs. Now a thriving mom, Traci has full-time work, safe housing, and peace for herself and her baby. She desires the same hope for others. Your donation empowers young people to find stability and build a brighter future. Give today and help transform lives!
